Dorothy06/02/2017This company carried out the replacement of bathroom suite and kitchen sink unit in October. The work took nearly 2 weeks or so to complete as the sub-contractors came as and when they felt like it, leaving us in a mess which we cleared up on a daily basis, inconvenieced us and wasted out time. The workmanship was not up to standard and the fitters were discharged whilst doing our work. Due to the bad workmanship, quality of material and number of times it took them to replace the toilet lid, we reduced the amount. After 2 weeks use, we noticed the washbasin hot water tap starting moving at an angle each time we used it. The toilet lid has also moved to one side. The sealing put between 2 planks of wood on the side of the kitchen sink betwen it and the wall was starting to peel off.
Generally, the overview of the work done is amatuerish, with the side of the bath panel, nailed in one corner, the pipe used for the taps, hanging (could be causing the movement of the tap), etc, etc.
We asked the company to come back to attend to these faults and they refused, asking us to pay them the amount we deducted. The workmanship and equipment are supposed to be covered for a year's warranty.
